Think about your personality before getting inked
Most of the people get a permanent tattoo and permanent tattoo is a big deal to remove, the process is costly and painful at the same time. It is very important to introspect yourself before you get inked for eg.being a man and getting a butterfly tattooed on your chest is something you don't like people to talk about, thus before you get yourself inked make sure you have concrete ground for anything you are getting tattooed on your body to avoid skepticism.

Whatever you are putting on your body, respect those values
Tattoos symbolize something about a person, that can be anything a characteristic, preference, the values you believe in, etc they which defines something about you and speak for you make sure when you get that on your body forever you respect that thing and adhere to it.

Don't get a tattoo in a language you don't know properly
Tattoos are fun when you get them in a foreign language, the look beautiful and are a work of best calligraphy but don't you think to know a meaning of what you're putting on your body matters equally as how beautiful it is? Yes, Arabic tattoos look beautiful as wrist tattoos, arm tattoos or neck tattoos but knowing something about your tattoos which are in a foreign language saves you from coming across as a show-off also an idiot.

Be it a skull tattoo, butterfly tattoo or a tribal tattoo this is where most of the people make mistakes, they see a celebrity wearing a tattoo and wants to go for the same as its a trending tattoo design, what they forget is the person wearing the tattoo has kept all the above three points in mind very well when they got theirs including this one. Always choose your tattoo design based on what's right for you, don't be a sheep in the flock and follow others simply to come across as a trend follower or "Cool", you know that's stupid.

Fading of a tattoo
Permanent tattoos are inked inside your skin and thus can only be removed with a laser treatment, but most of the times when you age, when your body structure changes or when you have a tattoo on the areas which are more exposed the tattoo starts to fade out, this is common with a tattoo on feets, fingers, wrists, and hands. Be mindful of this factor before getting a complex design inked on your feet and hands.

Tattoo and blood donation
This is the most common myth people have about tattoos. People with tattoos are totally eligible to donate blood. Although, it is advisable to wait for some time, after you got a tattoo, to avoid the risk of spreading some diseases like hepatitis or even bigger ones like AIDS. These diseases may go unnoticed for a few months, and hence it is advisable to wait for at least 6–12 months after getting a tattoo. This is, however, a precautionary measure, and not a legal measure. If you got your tattoo from a certified state recognized tattoo artist, you need not to worry about this. Also, this varies from country to country like in India you cannot donate blood for 6 months and once u finish it, if you are a healthy person, you should consider donating blood on a regular basis & can save lives.
